The Nursing Profession has expanded and the demand has grown at an accelerated rate in recent years especially in the first world countries. This is attributed to the low population rate and the difficulty in pursuing the nursing course in these countries. Retirement of middle-aged and older nurses has depleted the workforce globally in recent years. As necessary, the outsourcing of nursing graduates from other countries has resulted in the recent demand for nursing professionals.
It is noteworthy to emphasize how significant nursing graduates have become to hospital operations and the substantial part they play in the healthcare workforce. As the population grows, more hospitals, medical centers, and outpatient clinics will be established and subsequently, more nurses will be needed to serve the greater number of patients.

The Hospital Manager of the 21st century is considered to be one of the most important member of the healthcare team. Although it is a pioneer course in the Philippines, it is widely accepted among a large number of hospital owners/administrators that there is a great need for this course as the healthcare industry continues to expand and offers a wide variety of interesting and challenging opportunities to graduates of this program. Graduates of this course are in great demand in private physician's offices; medical and surgical clinics; medical centers/hospitals; private care facilities; insurance companies; health maintenance organizations (HMOs); medical laboratories; and retirement homes/home for the aged and orphanages.
Today's Hospital Managers will often be required to perform various administrative tasks. The course is designed to provide students with comprehensive training in the different settings in the hospital, as well as many other functions. They may serve in the information center of the hospital, facilitating information to the public, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, managing projects, analyzing spreadsheets, producing correspondence, and providing overall back up for the Hospital Administrator. Healthcare is one of the fastest growing fields in the country, offering outstanding career opportunities for the trained professionals. The healthcare industry is expected to increase significantly within the next several years as the health services industry expands due to technological advances in medicine and a growing and aging population. Employment growth will also be driven by the increase in the number of group practices, clinics, and other healthcare facilities that needs a high proportion of support personnel, particularly the Hospital Manager who can handle administrative duties.
This entry-level occupation provides basic training and experience and serves as a stepping stone to a more highly sensitive position like Hospital Administrator, following a post-graduate master's course.

In the last several years, the Caregivers have become indispensable to the healthcare field. Clients ranging from the elderly individuals, disabled or healthy, and children, have become reliant on Caregivers to perform a wide range of tasks, and their responsibilities continue to expand as the need for their services grow.
The Caregiver training program provides the educational background and skills in the care of the elderly person and child. Certified Caregivers are expected to be knowledgeable in basic health and illness; nutrition; first aid and emergency; personality development and mental health and home management. Reinforcement of communication skills and basic computer background are also included in the curriculum.
The Instructional Practicum in the application of theoretical knowledge to the actual situation in the care of the clients is done in the different health agencies under the close supervision of clinical instructors in the home of the aged, orphanage and the Philippine National Red Cross.
The job outlook for Caregivers is very positive. Employment of certified Caregivers is expected to grow much faster through the coming years.
General prolongation of the life span expectancy through improved medical technologies and better healthcare will fuel the demand for their services. This is significantly noted in the first world countries, where population growth has been minimal in the last couple of decades, resulting in less number of younger individuals in the healthcare workforce to provide care for the elderly and even the young individuals.
In the Philippines, the 2.5% population rate does not auger well for the populace. There will be fewer resources for a large number of people, resulting in less people being able to afford higher levels of education. Population growth and a greater number of people getting older will see the demand for personnel, who will need shorter courses to take care of them.
